Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP) seeks a full-time Staff Accountant to join our Finance Team based in our Seattle office. Our dedicated team of four is the backbone of financial support for all four offices of our organization, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. A minimum two-year commitment to the position is expected.

The Staff Accountant will primarily manage accounts payable while supporting other accounting functions on an accrual basis as needed. Responsibilities include processing payments to suppliers, contractors, and employee reimbursements, along with providing assistance in payroll operations. Proficiency in payroll processing software, SAP Concur, and MIP accounting software is highly desirable.

Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP) seeks a full-time bilingual Staff Attorney to join NWIRP’s Wenatchee office. Applicants must be fluent in English and a second language (Spanish language is preferred), and additional languages are encouraged. This position offers the flexibility to be based in any of our four Washington offices (Granger, Seattle, Tacoma, or Wenatchee). Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP) seeks law student applications for full-time summer internship positions in its Granger, Seattle, Tacoma, and Wenatchee offices. Interns will be asked to commit to 35-40 hours per week for a period of 10-12 weeks. Applicants with additional language skills are strongly preferred. Internships may be hybrid, in-person, or remote, subject to office capacity and unit placement. Select positions in NWIRP's Eastern Washington offices are funded; all other positions are unpaid, but NWIRP will work with applicants to secure outside funding or academic credit when possible. Interns will have direct exposure to a fast-paced work environment centered on immigration law and advocacy.

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until positions are filled, so early submission is recommended.

The Goldmark Equal Access to Justice Internship is a 10-week, paid summer internship for 2Ls and 3Ls created in honor of the Legal Foundation of Washington’s second president, Charles Goldmark. The Goldmark Internship provides hands-on experience in providing legal aid through research, writing, casework, and client services. In addition to gaining valuable experience in public interest law, the Goldmark Intern receives a $15,000 stipend. The 2025 host organization for the Goldmark Internship is Northwest Immigrant Rights Project.

Engage in a meaningful year of service and community with JVC Northwest! For one year, Jesuit Volunteer (JV)/AmeriCorps members serve local organizations across the Pacific Northwest, helping them address a pressing community need that they’ve identified.

By living together in an intentional community, JV/AmeriCorps members lean on each other for personal growth in the four core values of community, simple living, social and ecological justice, and spirituality/reflection. At Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP), we’re looking to fill Intake Coordinator positions in our Seattle and Tacoma offices with JV/AmeriCorps members. The service dates for these positions are August 5, 2025, to July 31, 2026.

We are looking to fill the Legal Coordinator roles within our Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), Family Services (FSU), Children and Youth Advocacy Program (CYAP), and Asylum units in the Seattle office, as well as our Tacoma and South Unit in the Tacoma office (unit descriptions are provided towards the end of the posting).

Intake coordinators at NWIRP play an important role in providing essential legal services to our community, including asylum seekers, individuals applying for family-based visas, vulnerable youth, and those facing urgent challenges or seeking protection through various immigration programs. Key responsibilities include conducting client intakes, screening for eligibility, coordinating legal processes, and collaborating with attorneys to prepare cases. Fluency in English and another language, preferably Spanish, is required for most units. Additional languages are welcome.
